Brief

Large-scale Digital Out-of-Home Augmented Reality activation to drive awareness of Sky’s next-generation TV platform, Sky Q.

Solution

A highly successful campaign that incorporated Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) , Augmented Reality (AR) and live demonstrations to create excitement around Sky Q’s new voice control functionality across five days in Waterloo Station. The DOOH AR experience allowed commuters to ‘summon a character’ to join them on the sofa and allowed them to interact with them while they posed for a photo. Commuters were then sent their photo via email and encouraged to share it on social media using the hashtag #skyvoicecontrol. Sky Q demonstrations also took place throughout the week giving commuters the chance to win a Sky Q package plus a TV and an iPad.

Result

Over 4287 interactions with the Augment Reality experience across the 5 live days and more than 500 Sky Q demo’s took place throughout the week.
